Yesterday’s Summer Solstice started a hectic planetary week and summer for everyone: the Lunar eclipse on Saturday will mark a culmination in the change we’ve been through the first half of 2010 and will still face this summer. Many of us are feeling the the push-pull of going forward versus staying back brought by a Saturn-Uranus opposition that intensifies our personal lives as well as our careers, bringing huge and necessary transformational opportunities.
The lunar eclipse will occur on Saturday June 26 2010 at 1.31 pm GMT and will not be visible for Europeans, whereas parts of the USA and Australia will be lucky to see it partially; check out on the web the right time to see the eclipse from your place according to your timezone. For those who will be fortunate to be in the Pacific ocean that day (lucky you!) the eclipse will be total in French Polynesia and The Easter island.
In a spiritual point of view, a Lunar eclipse intensifies tremendously the power of a regular Full Moon: the Tibetans say that a Lunar eclipse multiplies the karma by 1000…Whatever you do on a Lunar eclipse (+ or – 5 days) can have implications during years on your karma… it depends on what we wish, what we ask for and how we act on that particular moment.
Releasing toxic emotional patterns is the key to find out balance right now: during an eclipse, it’s important to avoid any type of conflict eventhough we feel intense emotions rising within us. Additional to the Full Moon Eclipse the planetary positions and oppositions (Mercury-Uranus-Pluto-Saturn and Jupiter are involved…) will challenge us even more. So fasten your seatbelts and make sure to surround yourself with Harmony and Love on saturday, for these qualities will be amplified in your life in the future.
Whatever has become outmoded in our life will be forced to defend itself in terms of its ultimate utility for progress and for a better future. If it is judged and found wanting, it will be destroyed in order to make room for the new world that is coming our way in these times of relative disorder. The aim of both a Lunar and a Solar eclipse is always to make us grow and bring change and a fresh start to the existing structures by obliging us to face situations we may have avoid so far.
The Moon is a symbol of fertility and female energies; a Lunar Eclipse points our relationships with women in your life (Mother, wife, sister, daughter etc…) such as our own female energies no matter if we’re a male or a female. In complement, a Solar Eclipse will point our relationships with male energies; the next one is on the way and will occur on July 11 2010, so get ready for that one too!
On Saturday, additional to the prayers and the wishes you’ll send to the Universe, please take a few seconds to bring your attention to our planet by asking more Peace on Earth; the impact of a collective intention is always more powerful and during a Lunar Eclipse the results can be outstanding…
Wishing you the best this Lunar Eclipse can bring in your lives.
